Portfolio 4:   El Cerrito Make Over

“The Warlocks” had yet to become “The Grateful Dead” when this home in El Cerrito was built in the 60’s. The house was rebuilt from front to back, beginning with the removal of the existing kitchen and the installation of a modern space featuring satin finished cherry cabinets adorned with marble countertops, skillfully crafted to introduce soft edges and an arched island counter. A combination 48-inch gas/electric range by DCS is the anchor to the gourmet kitchen that utilizes pull-out pantry drawers for maximum storage functionality. A split drawer dishwasher adds a unique stainless compliment to this contemporary kitchen.

Out front, a 15 foot hedge was removed allow a new garden to be built featuring a new fence, pavers, grass, and new lighting which now add an inviting warmth to this reborn home.
